Core Dental Bayside - opening June 2026 at 973 Nepean Hwy, Bentleigh VIC 3204 - will offer gentle, family-friendly children's dentistry right in the heart of the Bayside community.\n\n## A Family Dentist for Bentleigh, Brighton and Cheltenham\n\nFamilies in Bentleigh, Brighton, Cheltenham, McKinnon and the surrounding suburbs will soon have access to Core Dental's trusted children's dental care without travelling to the city or other suburbs. Core Dental Bayside fills an important gap in the Bayside corridor, bringing group-quality family dentistry to this community for the first time.\n\n## Children's Dental Services at Core Dental Bayside\n\nOur Bayside team will provide comprehensive children's dental care, including:\n\n- **Baby and toddler dental visits** - first appointment recommended by 12 months (at first tooth)\n- **Children's check-ups and cleans** - gentle, thorough, and designed to be enjoyable\n- **Digital X-rays** - fast and low-radiation\n- **Fluoride treatments** - protecting developing teeth\n- **Fissure sealants** - protecting the biting surfaces of back teeth from decay\n- **Fillings** - tooth-coloured composite resin\n- **Extractions** - gentle technique, always explained in age-appropriate language\n- **Nitrous oxide (happy gas)** - available for anxious children\n\n## Child Dental Benefits Schedule - Bulk Billing\n\nEligible children aged 2-17 can receive essential dental care at no cost under the Australian Government's Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). Core Dental Bayside will bulk bill under the CDBS from opening day.\n\nCovered services include check-ups, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealants, fillings, root canals, and extractions.
