Dr Kia Pajouhesh founded Core Dental Group in 1993, having graduated with first-class honours in Science and Dentistry from the University of Melbourne. What started as a commitment to bringing high-quality, accessible dental care to Melbourne's suburban communities has grown into one of the city's most trusted dental groups, now serving over 300,000 patients and welcoming around 20,000 new patients every year.

Core Dental Group is part of the Smile Solutions Group — Australia's largest single-location private dental practice, based at the Manchester Unity Building in Melbourne's CBD. HICAPS on-the-spot health fund claiming is available at every location. Core Dental also bulk bills eligible children through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), covering up to $1,095.60 in dental treatment for children aged 2 to 17 across all nine locations.

New patients with eligible private health insurance can book a no-gap check-up and clean, which covers examination, X-rays, scale and clean, and oral cancer screening at no out-of-pocket cost.
