Core Dental Group Dental Implants – Epping

Dental implants are widely considered the gold standard in tooth replacement. They're permanent, they look natural, and — unlike other replacement options — they actively preserve the jawbone beneath. At Core Dental Group's Epping practice, implants are built to last.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant has three parts:

  1. A titanium implant screw, placed surgically into the jawbone, where it bonds with the bone over three to six months through a process called osseointegration
  2. An abutment, a connector piece that attaches to the implant
  3. A custom porcelain crown, shaped and coloured to match your natural teeth

Together, these create a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions like the real thing.

Single tooth implant — from $3,500 AUD

A single dental implant at Core Dental Group Epping starts from $3,500 AUD, covering both the implant placement and the final crown. The exact cost depends on your clinical situation, bone quality, and whether additional procedures such as bone grafting are needed. Before any work begins, you'll receive a written treatment plan with every cost itemised.

The implant process

Your implant journey at Core Dental Group Epping moves through five stages:

  1. Consultation and assessment — digital X-rays, intraoral scanning, and a full clinical examination
  2. Treatment planning — your dentist walks you through all options and provides a written quote
  3. Implant placement — a minor surgical procedure under local anaesthetic (sedation is available)
  4. Healing period — three to six months for the implant to integrate with your bone
  5. Crown placement — your custom porcelain crown is fitted and adjusted for bite and aesthetics

The Epping practice uses digital scanning and advanced imaging to support accurate implant planning. Dr Alysha Soltys and the Epping team have extensive experience in restorative dentistry, and your implant and crown are planned together from the start.

Why choose an implant over a bridge or denture?

A dental bridge requires the teeth on either side to be reduced down — an implant doesn't touch them. A denture moves; an implant doesn't. And critically, an implant stimulates the jawbone, preventing the bone loss that begins as soon as a tooth goes missing.

With proper care, dental implants can last 15 years or more.

Payright interest-free payment plans

Dental implants are a significant investment, and Payright interest-free payment plans are available to spread the cost over up to 30 months with fortnightly repayments and no interest.

Are you a candidate for dental implants?

Most adults with good general health and adequate bone density are suitable candidates. Smoking significantly increases the risk of implant failure — smokers are encouraged to stop at least one week before surgery and for at least two months afterwards. Patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, or taking certain medications are assessed individually.

Core Dental Group Epping is one of the group's most technology-rich practices, with CEREC same-day milling, laser dentistry, and advanced digital imaging on site. The practice is located near Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, about a 10-minute walk from Epping Station, and is open until 6:00 pm on weekdays — which makes fitting in multi-stage implant appointments considerably easier if you're working.
