Rinse gently with milk or saline. Try to reinsert in the socket — if you can, hold it there and call us immediately. If reinsertion is not possible, keep the tooth in milk or between your cheek and gum. Time is absolutely critical — the chance of saving the tooth drops significantly after 30–60 minutes. **Toothache:** Warm salt-water rinse. Paracetamol or ibuprofen as directed on packaging. Do not put aspirin directly on the gum or tooth. Call us for a same-day assessment. **Dental abscess or swelling:** Cold compress to the outside of the face.
