How Invisalign treatment works

Step 1 - Free consultation Book a complimentary 30-minute consultation at your nearest Core Dental Group location. Your dentist will examine your teeth, discuss your goals, and advise whether Invisalign is right for you.

Step 2 - Digital records If you proceed, your dentist takes an iTero digital scan (no impression material), photographs, and X-rays to design your treatment.

Step 3 - ClinCheck preview You will see a digital simulation of your tooth movement from start to finish. You can discuss and refine the planned outcome before any aligners are made.

Step 4 - Aligners made Once you approve the ClinCheck simulation, your custom aligners are manufactured and delivered to Core Dental Group.

Step 5 - Start treatment At your fitting appointment, your dentist fits any necessary attachments (small tooth-coloured bumps that help aligners grip teeth), shows you how to insert and remove aligners, and runs through care instructions.

Step 6 - Progress appointments Appointments every 6-8 weeks to monitor progress, hand over the next sets of aligners, and answer any questions.

Step 7 - Retention After your last aligner, retainers are provided to hold your new smile in place. Retainers matter — without them, teeth can gradually drift back.

Wear your aligners 22 hours per day
